There are two quality options when it comes to the frame: solid oiled oak, boasting two natural finishes, or solid lacquered / painted beech, presenting an array of fourteen contrasting finishes. The seat of the J46 chair is crafted from the same wood veneer. Additionally, proudly bearing the FSC® registered trademark, it aligns with sustainable sourcing practices.

WOOD FINISH

Oiled oak finish: provides excellent water resistance, helping to prevent the oak from staining and reduces marks on the surface, making the oak easier to clean and maintain. Smoked finish allows the natural grain and texture of the wood to show through, preserving the beauty and character of the oak wood.

Painted / Lacquered beech finish: lacquered (water based varnish, UV protective, easy to clean and maintain); minor damages can be sanded and re-lacquered with this surface treatment; it also brings out the natural colour of the beech). The paint treatment adds a protective layer, increasing the furniture's resistance to wear and tear, scratches, and stains.
