Small and adaptable, Swiss made GLATZ ALU-SMART garden parasol in a number of shapes, sizes and canopy colours. 

Due to its compact size, this garden umbrella fits perfectly onto angled or narrow balconies and small patios. It will work perfectly as a centre parasol for an outdoor dining table, but can also be used as a stand alone piece to provide shade for a lounge or bistro set. 

The ALU SMART parasols can be opened by pushing the runner to the top until it locks into place, just like a standard umbrella.  A traditional and trusted technology of many years. What's more, the canopy can be tilted right and left 45 degrees. The frame features a profiled pole with an easy height adjustment mechanism. The design, with its elegantly curved fabric edge, harmonises with both old and new buildings and has a harmonious flair. The stable aluminium frame subtly reflects the colours of its surroundings. The canopy is replaceable and self-tautening due to the flexible tension spring ends that keep the fabric taught. 

The canopy comes in 5 colours of Class 2 fabric:

• Canopy colours: cream, taupe, stone grey, kiwi green and chilli red
• Class 2 fabric: 100% polyester, 220g/m2, UPF 50+ UV protection, colour lightfastness up to 120 days

The parasol comes with a 40 kg round granite base. The base fits pole size 3.5-5cm, and features stainless steel support tube. It comes with a wheels and a telescopic handle. 

Glatz also produce a high quality breathable parasol cover, designed for ALU-SMART & ALU-TWIST models, which is made of polyester and inner coating to protect the umbrella from the elements when it is not in use. Using a cover also helps reduce the canopy from fading. Easy to use the Glatz parasol cover is equipped with an internal rod and a zip.
